Jai Kumar, MPH

Jai Kumar, MPH is a seasoned health innovation strategist specializing in human-centered design, strategic planning, and thought leadership in healthcare transformation. Jai has been with CaroNova since its inception in 2021. As Executive Vice President, Jai serves as a thought partner and key advisor to the President, supporting the organization’s success and culture of excellence. He is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing cross-sector initiatives that increase CaroNova’s growth and impact. Previously, Jai worked with the North Carolina Healthcare Association and the YMCA of the Triangle, where he led initiatives in youth development and inclusive programming. Jai is a past Triangle Business Journal 40 Under 40 recipient with a passion for improving health and well-being in the Carolinas. Jai earned his MPH with a focus on Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a Bachelor of Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University.
