Ana Alvarez, MPH
Ana Alvarez, MPH joined CaroNova in May 2024. As a Senior Program Manager, she is responsible for designing and implementing project plans consistent with the organization’s mission and purpose, particularly relating to Transforming Serious Illness Care in the Carolinas. Prior to joining CaroNova, Ana worked at Family Connects, leading the implementation of the clinical care model across multiple state health agencies for the statewide rollout of the model. She also worked at Duke University as a Community Engagement Specialist where she developed a strong interest in learning more about the impact and effective translation of health innovations on the community. Ana graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and went on to earn her Master of Public Health at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.
