Staff at CaroNova work in a collaborative and supportive team culture. Most positions are hybrid or remote with frequent travel within North and South Carolina. Our main office is in Raleigh, NC. Director of Portfolio Design and Implementation

Serving as a core member of the CaroNova leadership team, the Director of Portfolio Design and Implementation leads the co-design, testing and replication activities of CaroNova’s portfolio areas. Reporting to the Vice President of Health Transformation, this role ensures that a rigorous and effective testing and implementation framework is deployed to move CaroNova strategies and opportunities to sustainable solutions.

The Director of Portfolio Design and Implementation will hold broad knowledge of the national and local healthcare landscape and proven skills in developing and leading performance improvement programs, ideally in healthcare, population health, or public health. The Director of Portfolio Design and Implementation will also have a successful track record of scoping projects according to identified needs and challenges with interventions and technical assistance aligned to maximize impact. This role will need to demonstrate a strong grasp and practical application of performance improvement strategies and implementation science best practices. Leading a small team of program managers and working closely with payors, providers, government entities, and academic partners, the Director of Portfolio Design and Implementation will ensure CaroNova’s continued programmatic success and sustained impact.

The annual salary for this position is $100,000–110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Director of Measurement and Impact

Serving a core function of the CaroNova leadership structure, the Director of Measurement and Impact is responsible for developing and leading measurement and evaluation efforts for all CaroNova portfolio areas. Reporting to the Vice President of Health Transformation, this role will partner closely with leadership and program teams to optimize CaroNova’s research, measurement, & analysis functions.

The Director of Measurement and Impact (DMI) will have extensive experience developing and leading measurement and evaluation efforts for programs focused on improving health and wellness either in healthcare or public health settings. This role will also have experience analyzing a broad range of datasets related to health outcomes, quality, financial, equity, and other key metrics. A continuous learning mindset and consistent awareness of evolving data trends and evaluation strategies is critical. The DMI will lead a small team of analysts working across all portfolio areas and will bring a dynamic and highly collaborative approach to the team.

The annual salary for this position is $118,000–128,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
