Sulianie Mertus, Ph.D, MPH

Sulianie Mertus, PhD, MPH joined CaroNova in February 2026 with a background in social science research and evaluation specializing in adolescent health and health equity. In her role as Analyst, Sulianie is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing healthcare data to inform CaroNova’s project development, evaluation, and dissemination efforts. She earned her Ph.D. in Community Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is a member of the American Evaluation Association, American Public Health Association, and Delta Omega Public Health Honorary Society, Delta Tau Chapter.
