Breyah Atkinson

Breyah Atkinson, PMP is a project management professional with an extensive background in public health. She joined CaroNova in January 2025.[CS1.1] She supports the day-to-day execution of key initiatives as a Program Manager for the Strengthening the Healthcare Workforce and Transforming Serious Illness Care impact areas. This includes leading health-focused, bi-state engagement efforts and serving as a trusted liaison to workforce leaders, health systems, and advocacy groups across multiple regions in the Carolinas. Prior to joining CaroNova, Breyah worked with various nonprofit organizations to support vaccines and early childhood wellness. She is a trained doula and has a personal passion for reproductive health and childhood wellness. She is a longtime volunteer for Dress for Success. Breyah has a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from East Carolina University. She is currently studying in the university’s MBA program.
